My own interest in popularizing science through the internet makes me think that other scientists might also share this interest.
As a scientist, I believe that science divulgation is part of what I should be doing. That should include increasing science literacy and also making the public aware of the powers (and limitations) of Science in our society. We need to let people discover what Science is about, to realize the blessings and the responsibilities of a technologically advanced society. (see the editorial article "Popularizing Science").
There are probably many ways to contribute to this (I will discuss a few ideas with interested people). But one thing is certain: Together we will better serve this purpose.
